Janet Jackson’s nephew TJ addresses backlash after criticising her sexy performances...

It is totally okay to love your family but not like their actions. We can voice our disdain on social media and not be bullied over our opinion because those family members are not famous. Neither do they have die-hard fanbases. So when TJ Jackson said he wasn't a fan of his auntie Janet's sexually-charged performances, her fanbase came down on him like a tonne of bricks. Janet is positively hailed by many as the blueprint for sexual expression for Black women in music, and of course this is fiercely protected by her admirers. As a result, TJ spent hours having to defend himself, even going on Twitter Spaces to clarify his remarks. The bullying and insults hurled his way were totally uncalled for! So much that even his brother Taj had to weigh in.

If you are over the age of 12, then it was easy to comprehend that he was saying Black women do not need to degrade themselves to get ahead in the industry and as a father of young daughters, this was his moral standpoint. Today he stands firm on his views and praises his aunt for being the legend that she is.

I was listening to 3T's last album " Chapter III" last week. They really had potential to be huge.
