Is Kelly Rowland plotting a music comeback after almost 11 years? Sounds like it...

Kelly Rowland recently appeared on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ and ‘Nightline’ where she discussed the follow-up to her last studio album, 2013’s ‘Talk a Good Game.’ Although she released a 6-song EP in 2021, Kelly said she is “finally inspired,” and that she doesn't want to put out just another sexy song. She wants to talk about different things, which further evokes the excitement inside of her about a future album.

She is not looking to put out “trendy” music and is keen “to tell stories with a body of work.” She adds that she wants to say something from HER perspective before emphasising that she's been in the game for 20-something years. Kelly, who stars in the Tyler Perry-directed ‘Mea Culpa’ is enjoying success with the film after it shot to #1 on Netflix’s most-watched list. People appreciated Kelly's music because it was fun. She may dismiss it as “trendy” but it is what scored her the hits. Does she really think tapping into her Adele era will solicit the reaction she is hoping for?

Yes! I’m here for it! Some years ago The Dream posted a snippet of a song Kelly did. It was a very deep song she was singing about being a dark skin girl and not being able to do what the other girls do. It sounded AMAZING! I’ve been wanting that song ever since. If that’s the direction she’s going I’m HERE for it!

She released a single called "Kelly" 5 years ago too.
