Rihanna & Bruno Mars the most pirated artists of the year...

Neither Rihanna or Bruno Mars dropped an album in the last twelve months, but still found themselves to be the number one victims of online piracy. These findings come courtesy of a new analysis of illegal file sharing by industry analysts Musicmetric. Both artists have had their hit tracks downloaded more than 5.4 million times despite Rihanna's 'Unapologetic' and Bruno’s 'Unorthodox Jukebox' being released in late 2012. This follows news of Beyoncé reportedly losing $3.8 million in sales of her new self-titled album through piracy. All three artists are hugely popular, so it just means that the bigger the artist, the higher the piracy, the bigger the demand is for their music. 2014? I say bring on Rihanna's new album asap!
