Frank Ocean's 'Blonde' debuts at #1 on Billboard 200

Frank Ocean's new album 'Blonde' becomes his first #1 on the Billboard 200. He sold 232,000 copies in pure sales and 276,000 with streaming.
Obliterates industry forecasts

He was predicted to do 225k originally. This feat also means the album achieved the third-largest debut of the year, following Drake’s 'Views' and Beyoncé’s 'Lemonade' (Billboard.) His previous album, 2012’s 'channel ORANGE', debuted and peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200. It sold 131,000 copies in its first week.

Congrats to him on the sales. Unfortunately, music politics will rear it's ugly head yet again. It's almost a dead cert guarantee that this will land him multiple awards at next year's Grammy Awards.
