There is always an ulterior motive behind everything Lady Gaga does. And when she debuted ALL new music at the iTunes festival this past weekend, a plan was already set in motion. For instance, she took to Twitter and Facebook last night, asking fans to choose 'ARTPOP’s next single. Of all the seven songs she debuted, she gave fans four choices - 'Sex Dreams', 'Swine', 'Aura' and 'Manicure'. If it were up to me, I'd have picked 'Manicure'. It's one of my favourite cuts performed off 'ARTPOP' due to it being very rock 'n' roll and catchy!
I think it gets bonus points simply because Adele has been gushing over it. They should get together in the studio as that would be one bad-ass remix! My second choice would be 'Sex Dreams'. It's very 80s funk meets contemporary electropop combined with nostalgic Janet Jackson! Can't go wrong with THAT combination can you?! However, what would YOUR choice be?
