New Music: Jessie J – 'Square One'...

After unleashing two underwhelming singles in the form of 'Wild' and 'It's My Party', Jessie J shows that she can deliver a great song when she's good and ready.

Check out the mid-tempo ballad 'Square One', which was crafted by British producers TMS (adding Little Mix's 'Wings' and Emeli Sande's 'Read All About It (Part III)' to their impressive resume). Jessie shares more personal relationship woes on the emotionally melodic number, which comes assisted with auto-tuned male vocals.

The song sees her delivering a subtle, laidback vocal than the unnecessary vocal runs and over-singing we're often subjected to. I actually like this toned back nature to her voice when she's not trying to be theatrical and over the top. Jessie's new album 'Alive' hits UK stores on Sept 23rd.
