Snippet: Deborah Cox covers 'I Will Always Love You' for Whitney Houston biopic...

TMZ shares a minute-long snippet of Deborah Cox covering Whitney Houston’s classic smash 'I Will Always Love You.' The 90's R&B vocalist was tapped to recreate some of the music by the late legend for Lifetime's biopic set to premiere next year. Actress Yaya DaCosta, 31, who is playing Whitney, is going to lip sync to Deborah's voice singing the songs.
Whitney's actual songs are most likely a no zone area due to copyright issues. However, Deborah sounds really good singing Whitney's song. Her vocal likeness to Whitney is the closest I've ever heard out of all the other singers that have taken on her songs. Great choice!

Here's a first look at the actress and actor playing Whitney & Bobby in the Lifetime Biopic directed by Angela Bassett.
