Ariana Grande tributes Whitney Houston on 'Greatest Hits'

Ariana Grande tributed Whitney Houston during the finale of ABC’s 'Greatest Hits.' She belted out renditions of ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘The Bodyguard’ classic ‘Queen of the Night.’

There's no doubt the chick can sing, but I don't think these songs quite work with Ari's voice. Naturally, when you hear someone cover a Whitney song, you're going to compare it to the original and it will never come close (although Deborah Cox and Alexandra Burke can deliver a similar soul element, which Ari lacks). Ariana's diction still needs work, and so does her stage presence.

Whitney Houston & Xtina hologram duet canceled, but still watchable

Whitney Houston’s estate pulled the plug on a hologram duet with Christina Aguilera for ‘The Voice’ finale. Christina says she was honored the Houston family asked her to do it. However, technology could not meet up to the high standard required for Whitney's talent. The leaked pre-recorded performance showed them singing 'I’m Every Woman.' Watch it below.

Christina Aguilera to sing duet with Whitney Houston hologram

ET confirms Christina Aguilera is preparing a duet with a Whitney Houston hologram during this year’s 'Voice' finale. They want to create the feeling you’re actually at a Whitney Houston show, using “live components” from past performances, interactive “digital components” and a storyline. Something about this is making me feel queasy. Dead celeb holograms? End it!

Ariana Grande covers Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing’...

You can actually understand what she's saying...
Ariana Grande's 'Honeymoon' tour came to L.A.’s Forum this week where she brought out legendary songwriter David Foster. He was there for Ariana's beautiful tribute to late legendary diva Whitney Houston.

Jazmine Sullivan tackles Whitney Houston’s 'I Have Nothing' for VIBE’s V Sessions...

Jazmine Sullivan can sing a Whitney song beautifully, as evident here. This was a top notch rendition of 'I Have Nothing.' Her voice is very soulful and she stays in her range. I like that. I mean, no one can sing a Whitney song quite like Whitney, although Deborah Cox comes remarkably close. I just feel bad that her album 'Reality Show' (due January 13th) may bomb horribly because radio isn't really latching on to her songs.

Powerhouse Jennifer Hudson wowed with a moving performance of Whitney Houston's 1988 hit 'One Moment In Time' during yesterday's visit to The Today Show.

It's been almost three years since the legendary diva passed away, but J.Hud, who calls Whitney her "idol and biggest inspiration," continues to make it her mission to keep the singer's music alive in her occasional live performance tributes.

Snapshot: Rihanna tributes Whitney Houston...

Stanning for true talent! Rihanna was seen rocking a Whitney Houston T-shirt while arriving at a restaurant in LA last night. Yesterday was the legendary diva's birthday. If it had not been for her tragic passing two years ago, Ms. Houston would have turned 51!

In related news, I've seen low quality scans of Rihanna's cover spread for 'W' magazine, featuring Naomi Campbell and Iman, and she looks so fierce! Stay tuned for HQ!
