Rihanna to open VMAs

MTV officially announces Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna as the opener during the VMAs tomorrow night.

It was initially reported that Britney Spears would be the one to open the show. With Beyoncé most likely the surprise performer, she could very well end up closing the show.

Regardless, VMAs looks like it's going to a good show with Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West all added to the line-up. The 2016 VMAs airs live on Sunday from Madison Square Garden at 8/9c.
