Forbes: Highest earning musicians of 2016

Adele and Rihanna made the top five this year, being one of the highest earning musicians of 2016.
Rihanna's album 'ANTi', assisting world tour and fashion ventures were clearly a contributing factor to her impressive income.
1. Taylor Swift: $170M
2. One Directon: $110M
3. Adele: $80.5M
4. Madonna: $76.5M
5. Rihanna: $75M
Then Adele had the biggest selling album of all time from a female artist in its first week. Her '25' world tour was also just as mega successful. In fact, Adele added two ADDITIONAL shows at Wembley Stadium after the two initial concerts sold out. As a result, Adele becomes the first female artist in history to headline FOUR concerts at 'Wembley Stadium.' The new shows will take place on June 28th and July 2nd.

Over the course of four total dates, she’ll play to more than 300,000 people.

I know some people are probably asking, where's Beyoncé? Well, Beyoncé came in at #17 with an estimated income of $54 million. According to Forbes, Bey could end up near the top of next year’s list, thanks to her stadium 'Formation' world tour grossing nearly $5 million per city. However, most of its dates fell outside of Forbes' scoring period and will be counted in the next report.

Congrats to Riri!
