There's a bit of a debate going on as to whether Brandy lip synced her entire performance to pre-recorded vocals.
Her fans are saying she sang over a backing track. That aside, the performance had its moments. At times she went a little over board with the vocal sequences and theatrics. I know she gets flack for lipping all of her performances but maybe (after 25 years in the game) she still struggles to tap into her “vocal bible” confidence.
Did she deliver?
Brandy also won her 8th Soul Train Award last night. The Soul Train Certified Award.
