Beyoncé’s ❝Formation❞ tops RollingStone’s list of 100 greatest music videos of all time...

In honour of MTV’s 40th anniversary, RollingStone ranked the 100 greatest music videos of all time and Beyoncé’s 'Formation' topped the list. They describe it as “a striking commentary on significant moments in Black American history.” Very interesting choices, considering that she's had more impactful videos like 'Single Ladies' (ranked at #12). Beyoncé is amazing. But can we honestly say a greatest video list has any credibility without the inclusion of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'? See the full list  here.

I think they gave it to Formation because of the political climate & the visual police brutality we were witnessing. I think Beyoncè has ICONIC videos for sure, but the entirety of the Thriller/BAD/Dangerous eras could've made that list, honestly!

I think Michael & Janet Jackson is The King & Queen of Music Videos!

Beyoncè is moreso The Queen Of Musical Stage Performances!!!

Formation is a great video. Number one over all the other videos that were groundbreaking like Rhythm Nation, I say not. Then again, I don’t really refer to rolling stone for musical prestige

That FORMATION tour was lethal... I went twice. She destroyed that STAGE.
