Aaliyah’s ❝One In a Million❞ to debut within top 10 of Billboard 200 for first time ever...

Twenty years ago today, we lost Aaliyah. Following her return to #1 on the US Album iTunes chart, 'One In A Million' is predicted to debut at #10 on the next Billboard 200 update. She is projected to sell 25,000 units SPS, 11,000 of those units being pure sales. The double-platinum certified album peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 almost 25 years ago upon its original release.

If predictions prove accurate, this would mark the first time ever that 'One In A Million'  has debuted within the top 10 of the Billboard 200. As it should be. 'One In A Million' has always been a stunning body of work, even when I first heard it back in 1996. I'd like to think people are also showing the album love purely for its beauty and not just because it is the first ever that it was available to stream on digital platforms.

I wish she had made it to number 1, but the family drama probably stopped it from reaching it's full potential. Either way, top 10 is cool. The trendsetters dont always get their flowers.
