Why was Tinashe snubbed by the Grammys?

The Grammys had gushed about Tinashe's ❝333❞ album upon its release,
but she received zero nominations during yesterday's announcement.
Fans are absolutely livid. Tinashe had one of the best R&B albums of 2021. Before anyone mentions it, yes, I'm aware the album isn't all the way R&B but she is heavily pegged as an R&B artist. Tinashe's album had more replay value than Doja Cat's Planet Her, which was rewarded 8 nominations. Major labels get top billing, while Independent artists are not rated and never will be. I thought the album was disappointing and has ZERO replay value personally, literally listened to it once, whereas all her other albums I still play in the car when the mood takes me. From the awful creepy he artwork to the overall concept to the budget-sounding production - not her finest hour. Doja's album wasn't exactly a masterpiece either but it has some very catchy bops, and actual hits, so I think it's worthy of its Grammy nods.

😅 I just didn't get it. I tried to go back and listen to it again today to see if I'd missed something, and disliked it even more than the first time!

@Unknown - Thanks - it's from my Tidal playlist.

@Anon - I'm not a fan of Normani or Chloe. I can cope with Ariana in small doses.

I liked the album but the Grammys are rarely consistent unless it comes to the big names and even that is not a given (ahem The Weeknd). It might just be me but I feel the value of the Grammy award has taken a hit over the last several years.
