Beyoncé’s stylist slammed by designer over non-payment of custom work for ❝Renaissance.❞

The scandals and controversies surrounding Beyoncé's latest album ❝Renaissance❞ appear to be never-ending. Beyoncé's fashion stylist Marni Senofonte has come under some heavy criticism by the designer who worked on pieces Beyoncé wore for her ❝Renaissance❞ album cover. Los Angeles-based designer Nusi Quero says he is struggling to pay his rent and bills due to not getting paid for his services on such a high profile project. He shared a lengthy Instagram post last night claiming he has yet to be paid for his styling work on visuals for Beyoncé's ❝Renaissance❞ album. He even goes as far as to say not only did he not get paid, he was not credited for any of his work either. Senofonte disputes these claims saying they paid him, but these claims have been defiantly rejected by a fuming Nusi. It's hard to comment on the ins and outs of this situation because nobody knows for sure if Nusi was paid and is just clout chasing OR if he didn't get paid fully and wants to genuinely expose how independent designers get the short end of the stick in today's cut throat fashion and entertainment industry. I'm going to lean more towards the latter, and if this is all true, there really isn't any excuse for not paying an independent designer, especially with the type of budget Beyoncé undoubtedly gets for such high-profile projects. Since its release on July 29th 2022, Beyoncé’s ❝Renaissance❞ era has been plagued with artists speaking out about allegedly not being credited for their contributions to the album. Check out the interactions between Nusi and Marni below.
