The late, great Tina Turner received a fitting tribute from Beyoncé with ‘River Deep, Mountain High.’ This took place at the first of FIVE London shows during her ‘Renaissance’ tour stop last night. Beyoncé is always an extremely passionate performer which is why she stands out above all her peers. She has that fiery Tina Turner energy on stage, and while she's been physically holding back on this tour lately, Tina has always served as her musical mother. No one understands why Beyoncé's love for Tina did not deter her from letting Jay-Z say, “eat the cake Anna Mae!” Deemed by many as a slap in the face to domestic abuse victims, the couple clearly thought they were being cool and trendy. But despite the criticism, Beyoncé will always remain Tina Turner’s most vibrant legacy.
