Ciara back in the studio #snapshots

Ciara is back in the studio, but has anticipation for new music passed?
It’s been three years and this is like the second studio pic. *snickers* I suppose bread crumbs is better than no crumbs at all.

Tinashe back in the studio

Interesting that Tinashe is back in the studio. Looks like 'Joyride' won't be dropping this year. If RCA keeps delaying the album for a hit single, we won't hear anything until Janet Jackson's kid is ready to start school. The more she delays, the more unlikely a hit will happen. Christmas is like... seven weeks away. Her best bet would be to try and capitalize off the festivities that encourages folk to depart with their coins.

Kelis checks into studio + announces "new music coming soon"

Kelis served up the main dish with her last album 'Food,' and now it seems fans will be in for some dessert in the very near future. Kelis is back to recording new music again and her fans are very happy about this news. Me too.

Rita Ora returns to recording studio

Rita Ora is back in the studio (pictured). She's re-recording her album again since suing Jay Z's Roc Nation. The ill fated project has encountered a number of knock-backs including the Calvin Harris drama which forced her to re-record the LP back then too. This week, she confirmed her exit from the X Factor to concentrate on the project. Good luck, girl.

Bruno Mars hits the studio with Missy Elliott

Missy Elliott shared pics of her studio session with Bruno Mars. "It’s so inspiring to vibe with people who can create real music and have a creative mind!" she writes.
Bruno also played some of his new music to Missy, which she was excited about. Mars hasn't released anything since 2014’s feature on Mark Ronson’s smash 'Uptown Funk.' His dad recently admitted his son was planning to drop his new record in March, but the Super Bowl got in the way. He says they are now eyeing September or October for next year’s Grammy eligibility. Are you here for their collab?

Mariah Carey hits the studio with Justin Bieber & French Montana...

Oh dear. Nothing good can come of this. And I mean absolutely nothing. In fact, any legend that wants to tarnish their legacy by duetting with Justin Bieber deserves to flop.
It was bad enough when Mariah re-recorded her festive classic 'All I Want For Christmas,' alongside the Biebs. Although I considered their pairing to be quite odd, it didn't bother me too much, as that was a 20-year-old something song, which I've heard in many (often cheese grated) versions. The cut will most likely appear on JB's upcoming new album, which is due to be released later this year.

Britney Spears hits the studio with Alex Da Kid...

Following her recent studio sessions with a certain Mr "Mustard on the beat ho!," Britney Spears hit up the recording booth with Grammy-winning producer Alex Da Kid.

His most notable works includes Rihanna’s 'Love The Way You Lie' and more recently, Rihanna's 'American Oxygen,' as well as B.o.B's 'Airplanes,' Nicki Minaj’s 'Bed of Lies,' and so much more.

This album is going to have major variety! I'm actually excited for it.

She has been captured in the studio with rapper D.R.A.M. What is she up to?!

Watch: Rihanna records 'Bitch Better Have My Money' in the studio...

Rihanna shares a behind the scenes look at the recording of latest single 'Bitch Better Have My Money.'

But the question on many a lip is, bitch, where in the hell is the REAL music video? And this was an actual Tidal exclusive too, like it was actually something.

Grazia are reporting she's taking a break from music to launch a lucrative fashion empire. Oh, the meltdowns!

Nicole Scherzinger is still recording new music...

Following the underwhelming UK performance of her latest album 'Big Fat Lie,' Nicole Scherzinger is still recording songs for the Stateside release.
This woman's perseverance is commendable. However, if music listeners are not buying what she's putting out, her efforts will continue to go in vain sadly. She just wasn't destined to follow in Beyoncé and JT's footsteps. Let's face it, Nicole finding breakthrough success in the States just isn't going to happen. Ever.

Leona Lewis teases new album with studio footage...

Leona Lewis, who has now finished recording her fifth studio album, teases another brand new song through some backstage studio footage.
Her vocals remain strong as ever and the music sounds like she has a lot of things to get off her chest. This last line rings a bell: "Just when you thought you dropped me, I gotta drop the news." Possible dig at Simon Cowell's record label Syco? If so, I'm so here for Leona's shade! Her new album is slated to drop this summer via her new deal with Universal Music's Island Records.

Ashanti is back in the studio...

It hasn't even been a year since Ashanti dropped her last studio album 'Braveheart.' Yet, here she is, recording new music for what is believed to be her next studio album. This girl sure hustles. I am sure she misses the advances of being on a major label though, or she would not be considering signing to the disaster that is Young Money. Even Tamia, who has dropped a few albums independently, went back to a major with her Def Jam deal. I think she should pitch a bid to Atlantic Records.
