Ciara criticises negative bloggers...

A very outspoken Ciara wrote a lengthy article on her official website titled “What is Social Media Coming To?” She says she misses those days when she could visit blogs and find glossy pics of celebs, as opposed to seeing negative articles deliberately written to evoke stan wars just for hits. Her words don't just target bloggers but their users too, whom she accuses of cyber-bullying. Her views give food for thought.

“Dear Blogger, it’s never worth it in the end when you sell your soul for a quick dollar, by creating bad stories about people. At some point, it will all reverse on you and you’ll end up regretting all the trash you wrote or said about people. The universal friend “Karma” has demonstrated this over and over again. I strongly encourage you to project more positivity into the universe.”
I read the entire article and feel she's made some fantastic points especially parts about the cyber-bullying, which you can read by clicking here. But being a blogger myself I wanted to address the above quote. News is subjective and it's a blogger's job (as well as other media outlets) to report ALL news regardless of whether it's good or bad. It would be unrealistic to expect to have every single thing written about you to be all sweet and toffee apples. If you put out an album that's not up to par, expect criticism. If you get into a public argument with another pop star, expect it to receive coverage. That's just how the cookie crumbles when you're a star constantly in the spotlight. Every little thing you do will be dissected and analysed. If you're not thick skinned enough to handle the criticism, I'd say you're in the wrong profession and should consider finding yourself a new job.
