Brandy sheds light on upcoming new album...

Brandy tells EW this week that her new album is "definitely in the works," and that she's been writing and recording it in Los Angeles.

Brandy reveals the album will reflect her current state of happiness (being single), as she's no longer depressed and sad anymore. Her latest single ‘Beggin & Pleadin’ dropped last month and Brandy says it came about after a very difficult breakup (which inspired "a life-changing vocal"). We can also assume the new music will be released via Brandy's new independent imprint Slayana Records. Big moves! She also enjoyed a 37th birthday this week. Happy birthday Bran Bran!
