Kelly Rowland isn't taking too kindly to New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's claims that Beyoncé's Super Bowl performance was an “attack” on police.

She praised her former bandmate's performance as “awesome,” before elaborating further. “I think that we live in a country where you have the freedom to say how you feel and talk. And it’s really from a peaceful place. I think that they’re blowing it out of proportion.” The singer, who celebrated her 35th birthday this week added, “Giuliani should just shut up.” I love Kelly.
