Chris Brown released on $250,000 bail

Chris Brown was released on $250,000 bail Monday night after he was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. This follows a long standoff between himself and officers at his Los Angeles home.

Due in court next month

He was released at 11:19 p.m. on $250,000 bail. According to jail records, he is scheduled to be arraigned on September 20th Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. His lawyer Mark Geragos has released the following statement:

Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy

So he still has to go to court, and can *still* end up doing a long stretch in jail if found guilty of said accusations. All sorts of things are coming out about the alleged victim though. Apparently, former beauty queen Baylee Curran is a wanted suspect for theft, something which could prove very significant to CB's case. Story developing...
