Food for thought.

Updates have been slow, because the world has become inactive due to this coronavirus lock down. The one time I can blog on a full time basis and I can't because nothing is actually happening! But food for thought.

I was having a phone conversation with my mum this week, where she recalled how she once watched a solicitor belittle a supermarket worker for doing a "basic" job. Now whether this lock down ends in 3 weeks or 3 months, I truly hope that people will come out of this with a whole new perspective. In the past, people have looked down on cleaners, supermarket workers and bin men. As key workers right now, they are pivotal. It's nice that they're getting their just dues for ensuring our lives are made a lot more bearable during such challenging times. However, it should not have taken a pandemic for people to get off their high horses and realise these workers are just as important to us in society as anybody else. Maybe now when this is all over, folks won't take certain things or other people for granted. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

Xoxo

Very beautifully said and I couldn't agree more with you. I never trust or always get into arguments with people who are despicable towards those hardworking people.
