Last year, Melody Thornton decided not to return to the Pussycat Dolls because she didn't want to serves as Nicole Scherzinger's shadow. Focusing on her own music career was probably a more dignified way of saying it, and now we have visuals for 'Phoenix Rising,' inspired by the BLM movement. Look out for independently released EP 'Lioness Eyes,' which is due August 7th.
