Aaliyah's Estate backtracks again... on her Birthday.

Today would have been Aaliyah's 42nd birthday had she not have tragically passed away 20 years ago. 


Her estate have also chosen her birthday to do some serious backtracking. Remember their big announcement a few weeks ago where they said, "2021 will be the year of Aaliyah"? 

A better question would be, how do you go from "2021 will be the year of Aaliyah!" to "our inability to share Aaliyah's music and artistry with the world"????

Then don't hype up the fans with premature announcements and then they won't have a reason to light up your asses when you don't deliver. 

Honestly, we're tired.

This is such a tragedy. They are messing up her legacy, if anything. Such a shame.

I'm tired of the promises every year on her birthday. As a loyal Aaliyah fan it's been years I've been waiting for this only to be disappointed each year. Promise is a comfort to a fool..
