Meghan Markle complained to ITV about Piers Morgan before his resignation...

Meghan Markle directly wrote to ITV's boss Dame Carolyn McCall to complain about Piers Morgan. This was hours before the Good Morning Britain co-host resigned following an on-screen spat with weatherman Alex Beresford. The Duchess of Sussex insists she was not upset at Morgan claiming he "didn't believe a word she said" about being suicidal in her Oprah interview. She was more upset about how his comments could affect people attempting to deal with their own mental health problems, an insider told the Press Association. Morgan was ordered to apologise for his remarks, which sparked 41,000 complaints made to Ofcom, but he refused and quit instead. His race-baiting views were not only inflammatory but very insulting. He should have been sacked years ago! Good riddance to bad garbage.

Yesterday's row if you missed it. I watched it live and chuckled:

I'm of two minds about this. He made compelling viewing, and love him or loathe him, there's a reason why GMB's ratings were consistently up between Mondays and Wednesdays when he was on, and then down on Thursdays and Fridays when he wasn't. He's the only reason I bothered to watch every now and then, and when he was passionate about something (and,he's proven passionate about a lot of good causes that benefit the average working class person/family), he gave his arguments his all. But he overstepped the mark this time, and his bruised male ego pride at being rejected by Meghan years ago wouldn't allow him to just admit he was in the wrong. I hope they replace him with somebody just as compelling but not quite as annoying - it's only been a day and this morning Suzannah Reid who is usually the middle-ground between Piers and their guests, slot right into his shoes talking over people and not letting them answer her question before firing another at them.
