Rihanna teases that her upcoming album will be ❝completely different.❞

It’s been five years since Rihanna released her critically acclaimed eighth album 'ANTi,' but what can we expect from the long awaited R9? Speaking with The Associated Press, Rihanna reveals it's going to be something totally unexpected and not what we know of Rihanna. Music is like fashion, she says. She's having fun experimenting and the album is going to be completely different. A release date is yet to be announced.

At this point, I don't think fans care about the direction. They just want to bloody hear it! She made her comments recently before the taping of her 'Savage x Fenty Vol. 3' event, which will air Friday on Amazon Prime Video. Does anyone feel like we get the same interview every year during this very event? It's like... she knows press are going to ask her about the album and she really gives nothing away.  It really isn't coming is it?
