This week, five new/unreleased songs from Normani ended up leaking online. Sadly, the songs do not give enough reason to be excited over an album that should have been released 4-5 years ago.
With the exception of "Ocean Club", they are all pretty crap!

All Normani Peers Was At The Award Show Last Night, She Should Have Been There Doing Interviews Letting Her FANS Know What's Next In Her Career. She's Slowly Wasting Time & It's Very SAD.
They're ALL pretty crap imo, Ocean Club included.
These all sound like leftover from the show Star and the BET show The Encore with all those girls from old groups.
I'm skeptical "Parade" is actually her. As album tracks though, I'm digging the rest.
I question the production! She needs a Rodney Jerkins, Pharrell, Timbaland level go-to producer that knows her sound & when she finds him or her, hold on tight!
Oh poor thing! She needs to get a job, maybe waitressing during the day, and hustling her buns at night trying to get this music off the ground! Lord knows how she is supporting herself right now; hopefully she isn't in too much debt.
Gosh I'm sorry but it's been FAR TOO long to launch a debut off the back of a group career, especially when the group has been defunct for several years and was hardly the hottest thing around. The buzz for Norman was very low to start with. MOTIVATION was a vibe, cute but nor memorable. The tracks with Calvin Hsrrjs were trash. The Sam Smith collaboration was hot, she should have come out then. I just can't see any album shifting more than 6k units.
I fear Normani's time is up before it even started, which is unfortunate but y'all sitting here lying and these songs are bad
