When Beyoncé kicked off her "Renaissance" world tour in May, it didn't go unnoticed that she was barely dancing on stage. Of course we all knew that this was unusual for Beyoncé. She normally always puts her blood, sweat and tears into her performances. But this time, the energy just wasn't there, and she was accused of doing the bare minimum on stage. Now DEADLINE confirms that Beyoncé DID in deed have knee surgery a month before her "Renaissance" world tour rehearsals began. The tour took 4 years of planning. And this is why she was not dancing that much at the Dubai performance, as well as during the early shows of the tour as well. Her 70% is actually so much higher than the 100% of some artists so she still delivered. Hopefully, she didn't do any further damage to herself going out there so soon after it.
