It's been 25 years since the blockbuster success of Brandy and Monica's iconic duet, "The Boy is Mine," and Monica reveals to ET that she’s open to doing another duet. The duo joined forces almost 12 years ago for their second collab "It All Belongs to Me."
Why would she want to though? They did it and hyped it, but sadly for them, it just wasn't a success. Currently, Monica has been struggling to drop her new album "Trenches," which was first announced four years ago (that's right, almost five years and counting). I don't think they should do another duet because "It All Belongs to Me" was very underwhelming and greatly underperformed on the charts (it flopped). Given the magnitude and impact of "The Boy is Mine," they were never going to match it or see a fraction of its success. Some things are best left in the past.
