Jordin Sparks performs 'They Don't Give' on The Today Show...

R&B albums haven't done all that well over the years, and I was quite surprised to see Jordin Sparks embarking on this direction. But I can't lie. She came correct with this new album.
'Right Here Right Now' is such a strong body of work and the sad thing about it is that it will most likely go overlooked, completely. She visited The Today Show to promote the project, which dropped in stores earlier this week. Check out her appearance as she performs her nostalgic R&B ballad 'They Don't Give' live on the show, below.

Video premiere: Jordin Sparks - 'They Don't Give'...

Simplicity is what's served up in the new visuals for Jordin Sparks' pretty R&B ballad 'They Don't Give.'  The video is all about those glamour shots here and there along with some emotional facial expressions and couples on a tranquil beach being in love.
Well, what else can I say? I'm struggling. Jordin looks really pretty in the video and I'm enjoying the R&B route she is going this era. I just wish she had better quality videos. I believe her album won't sell well, but at least it's here for my listening pleasure.

Listen to Jordin Sparks new tune ‘Work From Home’ (feat. B.o.B)...

Jordin Sparks teams up with B.o.B on 'Work From Home,' another new count-down cut off her upcoming new album 'Right Here Right Now' (due August 21st.)
I'll be honest and say it's not my favourite song from Jordin this era, but her lower register is everything. I enjoy her style of singing, and she's giving you something to twerk to. The track sees Jordin catering to her fella and doing what it takes to make him happy on the uptempo Salaam Remi production. Sage the Gemini is a very lucky man.

New Music: Jordin Sparks – ‘They Don’t Give’...

Jordin Sparks unveils another new song 'They Don’t Give,' off her new album 'Right Here Right Now' (due August 21st). It's a nostalgic love ballad about the odds being stacked against her relationship. However, when it comes to her man, it's them against the world.
'They Don’t Give' was previously issued as a sample on her '#ByeFelicia' mixtape and now we get to hear it in full. It is giving some serious throwback vibes, like classic 90s Babyface. It's proper oldschool R&B, and the legendary songwriter really went there with the deep rooted production. Jordin sounds so nice singing it, and I think her album is going to be a really solid R&B album. We could really do with one of those right now.

New Music: Jordin Sparks - '100 Years'...

Is one hundred years enough time to love someone? Jordin Sparks doesn't seem to think so on the seductively sultry '100 Years.' Over minimalist production, Jordin is giving straight Aaliyah teas and I absolutely live for it!
'100 Years' is a nice album track, and I think all the R&B heads would appreciate it. At least as opposed to general listeners who would find it a bit on the boring side, but as I say, hardcore R&B fans would embrace it. However, it sounds quite interlude-ish or would be better served as such as far as I'm concerned. Courtesy of Billboard, Jordin is releasing one new song every Friday until the release of her brand new album 'Right Here, Right Now,' due August 21st.

Album cover + tracklist: Jordin Sparks - 'Right Here Right Now'...

Jordin Sparks unmasks the official artwork and tracklist for her third studio album, 'Right Here Right Now.'

The 14-track project, which serves as the follow-up to her 2014 EP '#ByeFelicia,' drops on August 21st.

It features guest appearances from 2 Chainz, B.o.B, Shaggy, and Elijah Blake. Shaggy though? He had some hits a million years ago but I haven't heard that name in a hot minute.

Video Premiere: Jordin Sparks – ‘Right Here Right Now’...

The desert has Jordin Sparks showing off her sultry side in the visuals for her new single, ‘Right Here Right Now.’

This song is weird. Too much transition and it lacks a discernible chorus. I loved the beat at the beginning, and was ready to pop!

And then it fades... and switches into something less, and even after that, the beat switches again. I think I counted three different songs!

Jordin Sparks premieres ‘Double Tap’ video...

The Instagram lurker's theme song got a music video today. Jordin Sparks hits the club and displays her more grown up side in the sexy visuals for the 2 Chainz-assisted ‘Double Tap,’ lifted off her mixtape '#ByeFelicia.'
Directed by Dabs, the clip shows how iphones and taking selfies has become the modern cultural artefact of today's world. ‘Double Tap’ will also appear on her third studio album, 'Right Here, Right Now,' due this Spring.

Jordin Sparks blasts Jason Derulo... and he foolishly blasts back!

Jordan Sparks wanted everyone to know that her ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo leased the BMW he claimed to have purchased for her. She made the claim during yesterday's visit to The Breakfast Club and you all know how interviews go over there. Realising how bad this may have looked on himself and his "struggling" finances, an angry Jason branded her a liar and took it up a notch by uploading an unreadable receipt to Instagram.

This is a record label via Sony Music, which was founded by music executive and producer Salaam Remi. “I am very excited to be working alongside Salaam Remi on my next album,” she said in a new press release issued this week.

Jordin doesn't plan on releasing her next studio album until 2015, but she unleashes this nine track EP for your listening pleasure. She takes aim at everything, from Instagram stalkers, to her ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo on new music that shows off a feistier, more outspoken artist. Check it out!

Jordin Sparks fires shots at her ex Jason Derulo on ‘How Bout Now’ (remix)...

Ever since Jordin Sparks split up from Jason Derulo, the private singer has kept a dignified silence, up until now.

Perhaps she got sick and tired of Derulo running his mouth off in multiple interviews about what may have caused their fairytale romance to end. She is now getting her say by putting him on blast on the remix to Drake’s 'How Bout Now.'

New Music: Jordin Sparks - 'I Wish We'd All Been Ready'...

In light of her much publicised break-up with Jason Derülo, Jordin Sparks drops sweeping new ballad, 'I Wish We’d All Been Ready.'

Sounds like the type of song that would fit right in with Alicia's 'We Are Here' movement. Yes, it's cheesy but cheesy verses aside, she delivers a really nice vocal on what could be considered a really dismissible song.

In an interview with AOL Radio News, Jordin Sparks reveals that she wants the first official single off her upcoming new album to have a summer 2014 release, with a fall 2014 album release (via RCA Records). It's been five years since she released her second and last studio album 'Battlefield' in the States.

Photos of the day: Pre-Grammy parties [Part Two]...

Backstage at Grammy's Westwood One Radio Remote and MasterCard Pre-Grammy party, Ashanti debuted a new blonde look. On site she revealed that her new album 'Braveheart' has been pushed back from February 18th to March 18th. Even so, this day will not be happening. Unless you're Beyoncé, then sadly, your album will be certified dust if there's no massive hit single to support it. This project smells like doom already.
