Jennifer Hudson joins 'The Voice' UK

Jennifer Hudson has signed on as a coach for the UK version of 'The Voice.' As for the other confirmed coaches...

I'm convinced they asked Gavin Rossdale because of all the potential drama over him having the same job as his ex-wife Gwen. Then there's Tom Jones, that 'legendary' singer who is always so boring!

Ariana Grande's performance duet with Xtina underwhelms

On paper, this should have been good. But in reality, Ariana and Christina's performance was such a hot mess. Christina's voice simply didn't fit with ‘Dangerous Woman’ and they were both just screaming high notes. Very underwhelming to say the least. They also performed Ari's latest single ‘Into You’ during last night's ‘The Voice’ finale.

Whitney Houston & Xtina hologram duet canceled, but still watchable

Whitney Houston’s estate pulled the plug on a hologram duet with Christina Aguilera for ‘The Voice’ finale. Christina says she was honored the Houston family asked her to do it. However, technology could not meet up to the high standard required for Whitney's talent. The leaked pre-recorded performance showed them singing 'I’m Every Woman.' Watch it below.

Alicia Keys joins ‘The Voice’ as a coach...

Alicia Keys joins Miley Cyrus as two of the new coaches to join the panel on NBC’s 'The Voice.'
They will reportedly replace Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams for season 11. Meanwhile, longtime coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will stay on.

Being a judge on The Voice is like a last ditch attempt at relevance. I love Alicia but she needs a serious career boost after declining album sales. Only one song charted on the Hot 100 last era.

First look at Rihanna as a coach on 'The Voice'...

Rihanna's 'ANTi' campaign is kicking off slowly but surely. Here is the first look at the singer as a key advisor on NBC's ‘The Voice.’
I know a lot of people are going to look at this video and say Rihanna shouldn't be giving advice on vocals.

The goat jokes? So old now. Remember her X Factor performance of 'Diamonds'? That had to be one of her greatest moments ever, and she's clearly had vocal lessons. Rihanna can sing. She just isn't a SANGER type of singer, if you know what I mean.

Youtube sensation Esmée Denters auditions for BBC's The Voice...

Nowadays, the struggle lies in holding on to your record deal. Just because you get signed doesn't mean you've made it. Former Youtube phenomenon Esmée Denters previously had a record deal with Justin Timberlake but her career never really took off the way he wanted it to. She didn't become the next Beyoncé and so, he harshly dropped her from his label. She had so much potential and now she's working in a shop selling frozen yoghurt to make ends meet.

E! unmasks first look poster of Christina Aguilera's return to The Voice!

Reality shows are so 2002. Singing competitions, especially! American Idol should have ended in Season 6, but it gets drawn out for SEVEN more seasons despite ratings showing no one cares. The Voice is losing steam and has yet to create an actual superstar. So I ask, what is the point of airing singing competitions when the popularity and demand for them really isn't there any more?

Rita Ora officially joins The Voice UK for fourth series...

Earlier reports of Rita Ora joining The Voice UK for its fourth series have turned out to be true.

She replaces Kylie Minogue (who initially replaced Jessie J)  joining Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson on the coaching panel for the BBC One show. Presenters Emma Wilis and former JLS singer Marvin Humes will all return. The Voice UK launches in January 2015.

Rita Ora may replace Kylie Minogue on The Voice...

From one Roc Nation chick to another. Rita Ora is rumoured to fill Kylie Minogue’s seat on the next series of The Voice UK. An ‘insider’ with connections to the BBC reportedly leaked the info although a spokesperson for The Voice claims “it is too early to confirm speculation” and that “an announcement will be made in due course.”

This might tie in nicely with her album release in January, but The Voice has done nothing for Jesse J or Kylie's career.

So basically, Marvin Humes' new job is to introduce ALL the black contestants...

Since disbanding from pop boyband JLS last year, Marvin Humes became the first member to snag himself a brand new job. His first big assignment was to co-host on UK's 'The Voice', which airs Saturday nights on BBC One. He is not new to the presenting game. On a part time basis, he serves as a DJ on Capital FM, and has had hosting jobs on 'Surprise Surprise' and 'This Morning'. Therefore, I'd say that is a smart move building up a nice little resume for himself.
