When Jennifer Hudson was prematurely eliminated from American Idol, no one would ever have predicted that nine years later, she would end up receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
But then, nobody would have predicted she was going to win Grammys, a Golden Globe and an Oscar either! I thought she was going to be one of those Vonzell Solomon's or Latoya London's. A contestant that would drop an album, and then... disappear. Honestly, talk about defying the odds! At yesterday's ceremony, she was honoured by her musical mentor Clive Davis and songwriter Diane Warren. She was also joined by her family including her husband David Otunga, their four-year-old son David Daniel Otunga, Jr., and sister Julia. A very well deserved moment. Congrats!
