The Sun has issued a public apology and paid an undisclosed amount of money to award-winning singer Adele.
The newspaper published an article with unsubstantiated claims that she had an alleged “late night rendezvous” with Chris Brown, which she obviously wasn't too happy about.
I don't blame her. I'd sue too! Tabloids can't just post any bullsh*t articles for clickbait and expect no consequences. They knew exactly what they were doing when they printed that story. Now most of you can see why I am always sceptical to use them as a source, because out of all the UK tabloids they are the least credible. The only real news in that story is that Chris Brown is now allowed back in the UK after being banned entry for an entire decade prior to his vicious assault on Rihanna. It's probably why Adele sued in the first place, because she didn't want her name associated to his.
