Every time we see photos of Janet Jackson in a recording studio or a dance studio, I know not to trust it because it doesn't necessarily mean we are any closer to hearing the 'Black Diamond' album or seeing her embark on a 'Black Diamond' tour. If you recall, these were projects she had in the pipeline right before the pandemic dismantled the entire planet.

 

But with leaked reports stating that her new album will be dropping in January (to coincide with her two-night Lifetime documentary event), perhaps a music video is in the works hence why we are seeing Janet in the dance studio with professional choreographer Dean Lee. The photo was shared by the pop legend on social media, and sure, it all looks promising. So maybe this really is a taster of what's to come? We will just have to see once January rolls round the corner.
