Rihanna to attend celebrations for Barbados removing Queen Elizabeth II.

Barbados ambassador Rihanna is reportedly going to attend
ceremony for Barbados’ transition to republic.
Rihanna has arrived in the country ahead of tonight's inauguration
ceremony when it'll officially be declared a republic.

Nation Barbados reports that the Bajan beauty is home for the republic celebrations for Barbados removing Queen Elizabeth II as head of state. She is listed among the dignitaries for tonight’s festivities which start at 11 o’clock in National Heroes Square. From midnight Barbados will no longer owe allegiance to the Queen, ending ties with the country that legalised slavery on the island in 1661.

The Queen will be replaced by Governor-General Sandra Mason who was elected president. If Rihanna throws a republic party, it’s going to be lit!
