Justin Timberlake is “seething” that drama with Britney Spears is “overshadowing his new music.”

Uh, cry me a river? What goes around comes around, right? Justin Timberlake is reportedly “seething” over renewed drama with his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears “overshadowing his new music,” a source tells Page Six exclusively.

“Justin had hoped the backlash [from Spears’ memoir] would’ve blown over by now so that he could focus on his new album, which he’s very excited about, but every day is something new,” the insider says. People had actually gotten over it until he pulled that stunt in New York earlier this week, which makes me think he is not “seething” at all. He did what he did because he knew it would provoke a reaction and cause headlines bringing further publicity to his dated and sh*tty music. He used her name for publicity over 20 years ago when plugging his debut solo album, and continues to do so in his 40s (while aging like old banana raisin bread). He should have just sat there and ate his unseasoned collards.

I wouldn’t call his music sh!tty or dated personally - he makes good music and with the exception of Man of the Woods, all his albums are innovative and very good. Selfish has really grown on me loads too, I’m hyped for the album.

And even Man of the Woods really isn’t all that bad of an album. It was experimental and I think that contributed to its struggle. Filthy is my jam!
